Time flies

And I did. I went back to Knyveton Road. Good to be home. Back with my mum D. No kidding.

Okay, so.. the week turned into weekend and since my last blog I'm really enjoying my time here (as I was used to).

I made myself (and Manja) a list with all the things we definitely need to do before we leave Bournemouth.

1. VISIT ALL THE PUBS AND CLUBS IN BOURNEMOUTH

I really take this point serious and I started last saterdayeve directly. I went out with my flatmates Gabriella and Dorothee. (I missed them because I stayed in Manja's flat as I told you in my last blog). First we went to 'room six'. Some kind of a vodka bar, but it was only because of the rain. What a stormy weather, oh my God. Thank God I'm so fat at the moment, because otherwise the wind would difinetely have blown me away.

Anyway.. Gabriella is a full time smoker, so we had to go to a place where we could buy some cigarets so we went to the pool bar . It was not very bizzy in here, so when the weather became a little softer, we run to DNA (daytime, nighttime, anytime). We didn't really entrance there, because we had to pay entrace and none of us had enough money. Specially me, being unemployed, right. We crossed the street and went to Bar Vin . We really enjoyed Bar Vin. Nice music, strange people and a good alcoholic drink, made us that way. After some hours we continued our journey to find some other places we hadn't noticed before. We stood outside club the Con... shit, I forgot the name! But we also had to pay to get in there. I asked a guy if he new something nice for us and he told us to go to 'the slug and lettuce'. A really nice place to drink someting, but very expensive. The fact is, when you have had some drinks, you dont really think about the price of the next ones anymore.

After this we tried to find more but the weather was so horrible that we dicided to go home. It was a really good evening and very good for the relationship with my flatmates.

That sunday I went the Crank with Sandra and all the English 2000 people. It was again a very good evening. I wont spent so much words on it.

Monday I had school and I spoke to Lee, the director, about me being unemployed and reason why I missed so many lessons. The result of this conversation is that I'll go to school next week, every morning. (Start 9.00, so I can sleep till 8.00 after my clubbing nights. It will be long enough. A normal Bournemouth night).

After school we went to the moon in the square, of course. This days the weather was even worse, so I watched some movies with Dorethee and on Tuesday with Manja. Wednesdayeve I went out with Manja. I earnt 20 pounds. I only had to kiss I guy. His friends thought that he was gay and I could find out for them. I really have to be careful. I said before: 'When I stop working in the Carlton, I'll work as a prostitute in the streets of B.' And now I'm kissing a guy for 20 pounds. I'm really lost.

But who cares. It's 5 hours work in the Carlton for 1 kiss. What is one kiss in a womens life? Right. Nothing.

Thursday. Good day. Sandra's brother is in Bournemouth and we went with each other to the Purback Coast. Each other means, Sandra, her brother, Manja, Javier and me. We wanted to see the Castle in Swanage but when we arrived there, we had to pay entrace. A lot extually. We really didn't want that, so we tried all the options we could think of to get close to the Castle without paying. Really really really funny. It was like I had my LCKV day tour. I had some wholes in my shoes and the weather was still fucking shitty, so my feets were as cold as can be. I had no feeling in them anymore and when I had to walk down the stars, in the bus, i felt haha. Embarissing, dont you think?

Thursday eve, time for moon in the square and after that we went to elements. Also a club I had never been before. Luckily it was not that great, because I have no evenings left to go there again.

Today it's friday. I was really tired because of all my clubbing, drinking, travelling etc etc, so I slept till late and in the afternoon Manja came over for lunch and we watched a film again. Now I'm in her flat because she had to cook dinner for me. Healthy dinner, to be more specific. I'll go to a leaving party around 22.00 with Sandra and her brother and when we have energy left we'll go to lounge bar 167 (or something) for a last drink with him. He is going back home, tomorrow.

Well.. I hope it was a better blog then the last ones and you guys from Holland enjoyed reading it.

(Oh by the way, Manja and me booked to trip to Ireland. We'll leave on Fridayevening and come back on mondayevening )

xxx me

Back in Bournemouth

Hello hello,

I'm back in Bournemouth. I had a good journey. As far as you can say that when you travel by bus. I arrived in Knyveton Road at 10.30 and went to bed because I had school in the afternoon and turn down in the evening. But.. when my alarm woke me up, I wasn't fit enough to go and dicided to stay in my nice warm bed.

Finally could I come out of my bed and made myself some dinner and went to the Carlton. I changed my clothes and walked to the office. There was my manager waiting for somebody else. 'What are you doing here Fleur?' (I made the promise that I would call her when I couldn't be back on time to do the turn down - but I didn't call, so I came). 'I come to do the turn down, but I see you don't expect me, so I'll go home again.' After a short and very strange conversation was it clear to me that I didn't had to come back in the Carlton anymore. So I gave them my clothes back and said 'good bye'. Her last words were: 'But how was your HOLLIDAY anyway, Fleur?'

Fuck you, Carlton. (I didn't say it, but it lay on the top of my lips ).

After this minutes in the Carlton I went to Manja's flat. They made me dinner and I could spend the night in their flat. And to be honest.. I haven't been in Knyveton Road since that evening.
We went to the cinema, cooked delicious meals, drunk some wine, talked about life and love, watched a movie and just relaxxx. But I think I miss Knyveton Road, so I'll go home when I finish this blog.

Oh.. by the way.. it's weekend! You don't notice when you don't work, right? I'll ask my teacher on monday if I can go to school some days more. Maybe I can have the lessons I missed on another day. I'm a little afraid that I'll get bored when I'm sleeping and internetting the whole morning while everybody is working..

But first - weekend!

Next time more stories. I became a little boring as you can see. But everything is getting better. I'm looking for some energy. I already found some... so.... well...

Enough.

(This is the third blog that I tell you that my next blog will be more fun).

Anyway..

xxx bye

Wenrose

Joehoe, Bram, Connie and Fleur speaking from Wenrose Guesthouse, bed and breakfast.

Oh my God, how exited was I to see my lovely parents. I was really looking forward meeting them in Bournemouth, but then I got the heartbreaking message. 'Sorry Fleur, but we missed our boat, so we try to catch one later this afternoon. It means.. we will arrive in Bournemouth a little later.' I cried for a couple of minutes, but I had no time to worry because of my last turn down in the Carlton. (Sunday will be my last day in the hotel by the way. I'm fed up of everything there, so they can go on without me).

After work, I went home and took a shower and while I was drinking my cup of tea, I got a message: 'We has been arrived in Wenrose!' So I finished my tea and ran to the B&B. It was a miracel, but we recognized each other and fell in each others arms. We drunk some tea and coffee and after the first meeting I took my hungry parents to my favourit Kebab. Strange but true, it's around the corner from Wenrose place.

They brought me home and we said good night. The next morning they arrived around 11.00 at Knyveton Road 18, flat number 8, for some coffee and we watched the pictures who are not in my page. In about fifteen minutes, Manja arrived at my flat as well. We dicited to go to the Isle of Weight. We travelled by car to Yortmouth and there we took the ferry to the Island. Firstly, we drove to Newport, the main capital. We arrived at a lovely Castle in the mountains and after some pictures we went to town center. This was not a big succes, because we couldn't have lunch in the pub we chose and there was nothing else to have lunch. So finally we found a bakery store and we bought ourselves some delicious bread. We walked back to the car and drove to Alum bay to see to famous Needles and white cliffs. We had to walk over 150 steps on the stair, but it was definetly worth it.

Freshwater bay was the place where we had our last drink on the Isle. In a lovely tavern with sea view. My father broke some cups in the tavern, but they diserved it. (Conny: 'the boy said, it doesnt matter, but his face was like thunderballs').

We caught the boat back around 19.00 and brought my friend Manja home. After that we went to ASDA to buy some pizza's and while I baked them for my loves, I burnt my hand on the oven and the fire alarm woke up the hole neighbourhood. Kind of funny mm mm. But, we are still alive and ready for the next day.

So.. thursday, we had an apointment with Helen Carpenter. My mums collegue from London. We should catch the train of half past one, because we should met in Winchester at half past two. This went a little diferent because of my mum who had to go to the dentist. We came to late at our apointment and Helen had to go back early, so it was kind of speed dating. I fellt really sick because of my lunch in the carlton. I spent my whole day on the toilet of Winchesters tea room.

It was a very weird day. My parents brought me home and made me some tea. This night I threw up around three times and I'm still feeling a little bad. I missed breakfast in Wenrose but as you can see.. I am there now, so everything is better.

Today, we wanted to visit Brighton, but my mum has still some problems with her theeth and I'm sick. My dad feels the best of us, so that should say enough.

I guess I wrote a very strange blog but it doesn't matter. You are up to date again and I'll write a normal blog to you later!

Second chance

02 Feb (Sat)
22:23

As you can see, Saterday eve, almost half past ten, and Fleur Rianne Reijngoudt - well known as the new party animal of Bournemouth - is sitting on the sofa at knyventon road 18. She just woke up out of a deep deep sleep, because of a scandalous fridaynight. But more about that later. I'll start with my trip to Oxford.

We, Manja, Lilli and I, were expectd at Bournemouths busstation at 8:15. A couple of minutes later, we were sitting in the bus to Windsor. This is a very beautiful place with an old trainstation and the famous Windsor Castle. It was a very bright day, so I have made some beautiful pictures. After visiting Windsor Castle, we went to Eton. Famous because of his amazing Eton College, where the princes (and some ministers) of England received their education (for 25.000 pound per semester or something - but the fackt is, it's a public school, so I can let my kids have their education too there!)

We saw also the shortest street of England and 'the' cafe where Shakespeare wrote some of his masterpieces.. nice nice nice to know he!

A little toiletstop further, and it was time for real business. 'Oxford here we come!' The first impression was definately the right one. Big, old, yellow/braun buildings everywhere. It was hard to see the difference between university colleges, churches, shops and just the normal houses. We saw the university college where Tokien and Bill Clinton (or was it Geoge Bush?? hihi) received their educations and after all these beautiful views, we went to Christ Church. The largest (and most impressing) school of Oxford and also the place where some scenes of the Harry Potter movies were shot. Very very very nice. There're no words to explain, so wait till you see the pictures.

After this we had some free time. We used this for a little sight seeing tour by food, through Oxford, and having a delicious lunch with french delicatessen.

It was a day I'll never forget. Also because all my muscels still hurt. the guide walked so fast that it looked like we were involved in Oxfords biggest marathon. Also the reason I learned the whole group:
'This groen, this groen, this groen by the apen' haha.. lachen gieren brullen of course..

Thursday was my day of, so.. time for a party at wednesday eve. And well.. a Spanish birthdayparty in a gigantic studenthouse. I made some new friends (It's very easy to make new friends here. Just introduce yourself and in the end you give your number to your new best friend!). They were (almost) all from Turkey and some of them works in Crunk. A very nice night club in Bournemouth. So, yesterday eve, I went out with my flatmates to Crunk for some free drinks.

Before Crunk, we had some wine and sambuca, and wine and sambuca and sambuca at home. A good start if it's up to me. After our privet party in Knyventon road, we went to a Bournemouth gay bar. (I have really no idea WHY). While I was ordering a drink, I met Mark. My new best friend from Ierland and as gay as can be. Somewhere around one o'clok, the bar had to close and we went to Crunk. Murat, the Turkish guy introduced me to some friends (because he had to work..and friends share everything, isn't it?). They took us, by car, to the camel bar. I guess it's my favourite bar now. Upstairs you can smoke waterpipe and downstairs you're in the gettoh of B. with the best ganstah songs, yeah!

Very slowly, the night turned into morning and those guys took us to the beach. At the beach of B. I realised that there was no doubt left for me about me NOT being a lesbian! Sorry guys, but BLEHH! I won't go into the details, but now I'm really sure of my sexuality..

(Nothing happened huh, mum and Ellen!)

So, I think I said enough for today. I hope I can put some new (more interesting) pictures on my site soon, but it takes very long time to upload them, so maybe you have to wait till I'm home.

04 Feb (Mon)
13:33

So.. that was what I wanted to tell you last saterday. After my visit to the internetcafe, I went with my German flatmate to Subway. I mean the subway where my housemate Manon works. When we came back home, I fellt a sleep till 10 o'clock. After that, I couldn't sleep anymore, so I wrote my blog at home.

Sundaymorning I had to work and after work, we (Manon, Dorothy and I) went out for diner to a Doner Kebab in Boscombe. The best Kebab of B. I really fellt like I was the main character in a book. Galatasaray had to play a footballmatch, so the whole Turkisch men-society was in the restaurant, staring at a television, yelling and screaming when there happened something 'unfair'. It was serieusly a very special evening and Ank and Peet, or Mam and Dad, when you come to visit me, we'll definitely have diner there!

Great!

Okay, enough for today. I go to the library now, and I've school at half pas 2, so I have to hurry a little....

Goodbye my sweet loves..

xxxx Fleur
